Capabilities:
We offer turning, milling, laser marking capabilities and have the ability to produce a complete part including heat treating, non-destructive testing and various types of metal finishing. Our shop has 16 manufacturing cells with the majority of the cells consisting of 2 lathes and one mill. The cells utilize the lean manufacturing concepts and have the auxiliary equipment (deburring, ultra sonic washers) to produce a completed product. The majority of our business has historically been aerospace, consequently our material handling/packing and shipping processes our designed to prevent nicks, dents and scratches. Scott Machine, Inc. has approximately 20 CNC lathes, 10 mills, 5 tool room lathes, 2 EDM machines and 1 laser marker. We partner with various special processing shops to provide a finished product for our customers. These services include heat treating, passivation, annodizing, chemfilm, dry-film, hard coating, plating, rubber bonding, florescent penetrant inspection, x-ray, and other forms of non-destructive testing.
